Finnish driver Heikki Kovalainen has also claimed that this weekend's Formula One Grand Prix in Budapest is 'a home race for me'.
Kovalainen joins Polish driver Robert Kubica in claiming that this weekend's race is similar to a home Grand Prix and pointed to the swarm of Finnish racing fans that descend on Hungary as reason for him to feel at home this weekend.
"It is sort of a home race for me as there a lot of Finns normally turning up here. I am looking forward to coming back," Kovalainen said.
Kubica said earlier this week that there are normally 'a lot of Polish fans coming to Budapest. It's sort of a home grand prix for me and the Polish fans'.
Lotus driver Kovalainen won his only Formula One Grand Prix in Budapest back in 2008 and that gives him more reason to feel comfortable.
"Certainly a circuit I always look forward to coming back (to). The first and only victory so far in my career came here, so it is a very special place. It was a special moment for me," he said.
The Finn is hoping that the Hungaroring track will give his team an advantage.
"I am also looking forward to seeing the gap to the cars ahead of us. It might be less here than let's say a circuit like Silverstone."
"A very high speed circuit is something that is not good for our car and that peak downforce at high speed is something that we are lacking, so hopefully that will play into our hands a little bit as well."
Kovalainen admitted the reliability of his car was 'still a concern' but spoke about his team's effort and dedication to make sure both he and teammate Jarno Trulli will finish this weekend's race.
